Job summary

QinetiQ Limited in Portsmouth is seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of multiple maritime projects, partnering with MOD, Royal Navy and NATO nations to bring new capabilities into service.

You will collaborate with technical teams, MOD stakeholders and industry partners across the full lifecycle—from planning and governance to risk management and delivery—balancing priorities to achieve successful outcomes for customers and end users.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and delivering projects, programmes, portfolios, or initiatives within a complex environment.
• Strong leadership with ability to influence and align teams toward objectives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across customers, partners and internal teams.
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution to manage priorities and expectations.
• Experience contributing to bids, proposals, delivery planning, risk management and costing.
• Collaborative team player with integrity and inclusive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners and suppliers.
• Deliver projects against objectives for satisfaction, time, cost, quality, revenue and cash.
• Ensure safe, secure and compliant delivery with governance and lifecycle processes.
• Lead and support project teams, manage performance and prioritisation.
• Maintain accurate forecasts for finance, resources, sales and delivery.
• Manage project data in SAP CRM with up-to-date records and metrics.
