Job summary

QinetiQ Limited in Portsmouth, England, seeks a Senior Programme Manager to lead a strategically important defence programme within the Maritime division, coordinating governance, delivery and stakeholder engagement across UK and international partners.

You will drive evidence-based planning for the Defence Wide Radar Proposition, manage scope, schedule, budget, risks and dependencies, and partner with UK MOD, industry and Australian partners to support future investment decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience managing large defence/government programmes.
• Proven ability to establish governance and delivery organisations.
• Track record leading multi-disciplinary teams across technical and business areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead mobilisation and delivery of a complex multi-disciplinary programme.
• Develop and implement governance framework, controls and reporting.
• Coordinate activities across UK and international stakeholders.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks and dependencies across workstreams.
• Develop the programmatic solution and operating model for DWRP.
• Build relationships with senior MOD, military, government and industry partners.
