Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead the finance function in a manufacturing SME. The role focuses on accuracy, control, and driving performance across cost centres and stock valuation.

You will manage budgeting, forecasting, month-end processes and financial reporting, partnering with operational teams to improve profitability and business efficiency.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA with membership or equivalent recognition.
• Experience leading finance in manufacturing/industrial SME advised.
• Proven track record in management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day finance function.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management.
• Monitor stock valuation, inventory and product costing.
• Review margins, profitability and operational performance.
• Manage month-end and year-end processes.
• Ensure financial controls, compliance and reporting standards.
