Job summary

Consortium Professional Recruitment are partnering with a well-established manufacturing business to recruit a Financial Controller. You will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, lead a small team and work closely with colleagues across operations, manufacturing and supply chain.

The role includes monthly and annual management accounts, year-end support, and financial analysis to drive informed business decisions.

Qualifications

• Senior finance experience in a comparable role such as Financial Controller or Finance Manager.
• Strong management accounting knowledge including month-end reporting and year-end processes.
• Experience leading a small finance team with a collaborative management style.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Preparing monthly and annual management accounts with timely financial reporting and support for year-end accounts.
• Partnering with operational teams to provide financial analysis and insights for decision-making.
• Leading and developing a small transactional finance team (purchase and sales ledger).
• Overseeing day-to-day financial activities, controls, processes and reporting standards.
• Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and operational performance.
