Job summary

AEPartners UK seeks an experienced M&E Business Development Manager to identify and secure new revenue opportunities across the mechanical and electrical sectors, spanning commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, infrastructure, manufacturing, data centres and renewables.

Reporting to the Managing Director and collaborating with sales and estimating, you will develop strategic plans to increase sales and market share, build long-term client relationships and expand the company’s presence

Qualifications

• HNC/HND Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years in M&E business development, sales or account management.
• Proven ability to win new business, grow market share and negotiate effectively.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic BD plan to achieve sales targets.
• Identify new opportunities across public and private sector clients.
• Generate leads via networking, referrals and industry events.
• Build a strong pipeline across M&E installation, maintenance and services.
• Attend client meetings, site visits and industry exhibitions.
• Deliver compelling proposals and convert enquiries into contracts.
• Maintain relationships with consultants, contractors and end users.
• Collaborate with estimating and operations to prepare tenders.
