Job summary

Sharp Consultancy is seeking a Head of Acquisitions to drive the end-to-end M&A strategy from origination to deal completion near York, UK. The role entails evaluating opportunities, supervising due diligence, and leading negotiations with potential sellers.

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Accountant with a strong M&A track record, excellent stakeholder communication, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams and external advisers toward successful integrations.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Accountant with proven track record in mergers & acquisitions.
• Highly analytical with ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Independent worker who can also collaborate with cross-functional teams and external advisors.
• Strong commercial mindset with experience managing deal structures, negotiations and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate potential merger and acquisition opportunities.
• Supervise and manage due diligence processes.
• Support commercial negotiations to secure heads of terms and binding contracts.
• Work with leadership and PMO to ensure integration of acquired entities.
• Manage and sequence a pipeline and portfolio of opportunities.
