Job summary

Sharp Consultancy presents an exciting Senior Management Accountant role with a UK partner business. You will own the monthly management accounts, deliver P&L, balance sheet and cash-flow reporting, and drive budgeting and forecasting to support growth.

Ideal candidates are ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, commercially curious, and able to communicate effectively with non-finance colleagues. Eligible to work in the UK full time is required.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA and strong management accounts experience.
• Experience with month-end close, budgeting and forecasting.
• Excellent communication with non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly management accounts and month-end close.
• Produce P&L, balance sheet and cash-flow reporting.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow forecasting.
• Provide analysis and commentary on performance, variances and trends.
• Support working capital management and financial planning.
• Maintain internal controls and reconciliations.
• Assist year-end, audit and VAT requirements.
• Oversee monthly payroll processes.
• Collaborate with operational teams on financial performance.
• Identify process and reporting improvements; support finance projects.
