Partners& Limited is seeking a commercially minded M&A Analyst to join our Corporate Development team in the UK. You will support mergers and acquisitions across the Group from opportunity identification through to execution, post-deal performance tracking and integration support.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to build a career in M&A within a fast-paced, private equity backed, acquisitive business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) or equivalent.
• Experience in Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, Deals Advisory, Audit or similar.
• Strong financial analysis, valuation and modelling capabilities.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, multi-priority ability.
• Experience in financial services is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end M&A process including target assessments and due diligence.
• Perform financial analysis, valuation and business case development.
• Analyse financial, operational and commercial data to identify risks and value.
• Assist with transaction documentation and deal closure activities.
• Monitor performance, synergy delivery and earnout calculations.
• Prepare reports and insights for senior leadership and Board.
• Conduct market research to identify targets and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external advisers on complex deals.
