Job summary

Leonardo in Yeovil is seeking a proactive Logistics Controller to manage outsourced logistics operations and act as the interface with external providers.

You will monitor KPIs, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement while influencing logistics strategy and supporting tenders and cost-reduction initiatives. The role requires strong organisation, analytical, and communication skills and experience in contract management or procurement.

Qualifications

• HNC level (or equivalent) in Aerospace or business-related subject or relevant experience.
• Experience in contract management, procurement or project management is desirable.
• Ability to organise, plan, prioritise and control complex operations.
• Financial awareness including budgets and variances.

Responsibilities

• Act as interface between the company and outsourced logistics providers.
• Monitor performance against KPIs and manage contractual obligations.
• Engage stakeholders to ensure contract compliance and cost control.
• Support continuous improvement, cost-reduction initiatives and tenders.
• Provide operational support for logistics processes and data integrity.
