Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd in Yeovil, England, is seeking a Procurement Contracting Principles & Compliance Senior Specialist to join the UK team at the Yeovil site. The role sits within the Procurement Governance & Excellence (PG&E) function to drive governance, compliance and contractual standards across geographies.

You will help define contracting policy, support negotiations, and ensure regulatory adherence including ITAR/EAR, reporting and supplier collaboration. Hybrid working options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level in law, business or related field.
• Proven experience as contract manager or specialist.
• Strong contractual and legal knowledge.
• Experience with Trade Control, ITAR/Export Administration Regulations.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
• Excellent reporting procedures and record keeping.
• Fluent English; Italian is a plus.
• Ability to resolve conflicts with suppliers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Defining P&SC contractual standards with legal support.
• Review and define contract documents and business provisions.
• Provide training, guidance and support on negotiations.
• Trade control compliance policy, process and management to minimize risk.
• Contract & Trade Compliance Management; develop and influence contracting policy.
• Embed Environmental requirements in coordination with team members.
• Draft and standardize Procurement contract documents to reduce liability.
• Flow down contractual requirements into the supply chain (DEFCON, cybersecurity).
