Job summary

Mainstay Recruitment Solutions Ltd is recruiting for a Head of Technical Compliance on a permanent, full-time basis to lead the contract's compliance and assurance functions in Salisbury. You will steer the technical compliance framework, govern safety standards and ensure risk controls across operations.

You will build and manage a team of Authorised Persons, advise on JSP 375 and HSE codes, and provide monthly/quarterly reporting on performance, risks and improvements to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in technical compliance, governance or a similar function.
• Strong knowledge of statutory compliance and building engineering systems.
• Experience developing compliance assurance frameworks and audit programmes.
• Experience interpreting legislation, standards and industry guidance.
• UK driving licence and ability to obtain SC security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical compliance, governance and assurance across the contract.
• Provide expert advice on legislation, standards and best practice.
• Develop and manage a team of authorised persons and provide direction.
• Ensure JSP 375, HSE codes and statutory requirements are met.
• Oversee audits, inspections and assurance reviews, track actions.
