A leading engineering services provider in the UK is seeking a Head of Technical & Compliance to provide strategic leadership for compliance within Hard Services. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in engineering compliance at a senior level, with a strong background in managing multi-disciplinary technical teams. Responsibilities include defining compliance frameworks, leading audits, and mentoring the technical team. This role is crucial in ensuring all operations meet statutory and contractual standards.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in engineering compliance at a senior level.
- Deep working knowledge of statutory requirements (EAWR, PSSR, L8, etc.).
- Recognised Authorising Engineer for Electrical and/or Mechanical Systems.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain compliance framework across all disciplines.
- Lead Technical Managers and chair Technical Compliance Board.
- Oversee internal audits and lead technical investigations of incidents.
Skills
Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Incorporated Engineer (IEng)
Experience in technical services or engineering compliance
Strong background in leading multi-disciplinary technical teams
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Education
Relevant engineering qualification
