Job summary

Surrey and Sussex ICB in Lewes is seeking an experienced senior manager to lead the LDA/MHs117 team within the learning disabilities and autism programme. You will develop and implement performance measures and report progress to senior management and boards.

You will provide strategic guidance to health and social care colleagues on LD and autism, oversee S117 aftercare, and ensure pathway transformations are delivered on time and cost-effectively across the wider system.

Qualifications

• Master's level or equivalent senior experience in health and care
• Extensive knowledge of health and care policies, priorities and strategy in ICBs
• Understanding of relationships with key systems partners (e.g. NHSE)
• Experience in change management processes
• Extensive experience in health and social care, notably LD/Autism and S117 aftercare
• Knowledge of Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act and Care Act

Responsibilities

• Lead the LDA/MHs117 team and learning disabilities/autism programme and provide robust leadership and managerial guidance
• Develop and implement qualitative and quantitative measures to determine performance against the organisational strategy
• Present complex information to senior management and boards in a clear, audience-appropriate manner
• Advise health and social care colleagues on LD and Autism and S117 aftercare
• Ensure pathway transformations are delivered on time and cost effective
• Engage with NHS, local authorities, universities, provider boards and other key partners across the system
