NHS Surrey and Sussex ICB invites applications for Deputy Head of Learning Disability, Autism Programme & MH (NHS AfC: Band 8b). The role requires strategic leadership across LDA/S117, with governance, finance, and performance management responsibilities.

The post holder will engage service users and stakeholders, lead multi-disciplinary teams, ensure compliance with safeguarding and professional standards, and drive service improvement and financial stewardship across the included services.

Qualificações

• Master's level or equivalent at a senior level in specialist area.
• Extensive knowledge of LDA, S117 All Age Continuing Care, via further training.
• Evidence of post qualifying and continuing professional development.
• Understanding of health policy priorities and how they affect engagement.
• Experience working with key partners including County Council and NHSE.
• Professional Healthcare/Clinical qualification with current registration.

Responsabilidades

• Lead budget management and ensure expenditure control with proper processes.
• Communicate highly complex information to patients, families and partners.
• Develop and deliver joint training with Local Authority on S117 and related policies.
• Promote patient-centred care, clinical quality and value for money.
• Ensure safeguarding compliance and coordinate multi-agency safeguarding meetings.
• Ensure services meet professional, regulatory and statutory standards.
