Job summary

WSP is a global engineering and environmental professional services firm. As Associate Director in Cost Intelligence and Estimating, you will lead high-quality estimating, cost benchmarking and advisory across infrastructure programmes, providing technical leadership from early business case through to procurement and delivery.

You will manage complex commissions, build client relationships, win opportunities, and mentor a team of quantity surveyors and estimators within the Civil Infrastructure

Qualifications

• MRICS or similar commercial qualification.
• Extensive experience in water or energy sectors with estimating, benchmarking, procurement and cost management.
• Senior-level management, project leadership and delivery experience in cost/commercial matters.
• Ability to develop, mentor and grow a team.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of estimating, cost intelligence and benchmarking for major infrastructure programmes.
• Provide technical leadership across the full project lifecycle from early business case to procurement and delivery.
• Lead complex commissions, build trusted client relationships and grow WSP’s presence in key markets.
• Develop and mentor team members to ensure high standards of delivery and capability growth.
• Support bid leadership, proposals and work-winning activities where applicable.
