Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior/Principal Consultant in Cost Intelligence and Estimating to lead and deliver cost benchmarking for major infrastructure programmes. You will provide technical leadership across the project lifecycle, from early strategic advice to procurement support, guiding decisions with evidence-based cost data.

You will also grow the business by developing client relationships, shaping opportunities and mentoring team members within the Project Management and Commercial Management

Qualifications

• MRICS or similar commercial qualification is required.
• Experience in water or energy sectors is desirable; other infrastructure sectors acceptable with estimating and benchmarking.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and lead by example.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support delivery of high-quality estimating, cost intelligence and benchmarking services.
• Provide technical leadership across the full project lifecycle from early-stage advice to procurement support.
• Build trusted client relationships, shape opportunities and support market growth.
