Job summary

WSP UK is seeking a Senior/Principal Consultant in Cost Intelligence and Estimating to lead high-quality estimating and benchmarking for major infrastructure programmes. You will provide technical leadership across the full project lifecycle, from early business case to procurement and delivery, and mentor junior team members.

Join our Project Management and Commercial Management team (PMCM) and contribute to growing WSP’s presence in the UK markets while building trusted client relationships

Qualifications

• MRICS or similar commercial qualification.
• Experience in water or energy sectors or other infrastructure sectors with estimating and benchmarking.
• Ability to develop and mentor junior team members.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support high-quality estimating, cost intelligence and benchmarking for major programmes across infrastructure projects.
• Provide technical leadership across the full project lifecycle from early-stage business case to procurement and delivery.
• Build trusted client relationships, help win new opportunities and grow WSP’s presence in key markets.
• Involve line management, mentoring and technical leadership to develop future talent.
