Job summary

Bowdon Associates Limited is seeking a Land Buyer / Development Manager in Altrincham to source and secure land opportunities and support the Land Director in meeting growth targets.

The role involves coordinating land opportunities, managing relationships with landowners, agents and promoters, and preparing robust land bid information and packs for review by senior management. Extensive knowledge of planning and development processes is essential.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification or extensive experience in land acquisition, negotiation, procurement and management.
• Broad understanding of planning frameworks and development procedures.
• Financial/Commercial awareness and awareness of land-related legal matters.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Source and secure land opportunities within a defined area to meet the business plan.
• Maintain relationships with landowners, agents and promoters to identify opportunities.
• Prepare information packs (Regional Land Information Packs) to support initial land offers for review by the Land Director.
• Project manage the delivery of land requirements from site purchase to legals and planning stages.
• Collaborate with the Land Director to ensure end-to-end effectiveness of land acquisitions.
