Job summary

Danaher is seeking a Labor and Employee Relations Manager UK to guide employee relations across the Life Sciences Platform. You’ll partner with HR and leaders to ensure compliant, consistent practices and manage a diverse range of ER matters.

You will work with works councils, COE, and LER legal teams, handling investigations, performance management, disciplinary actions, and workforce changes while upholding policies and employment laws. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, JD or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years in Labor and Employee Relations or related HR discipline.
• Experience managing investigations, performance management, disciplinary matters, grievances, and workforce reduction activities.
• Experience working in a unionized environment and with works councils/employee reps.
• Working knowledge of applicable employment laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on employee relations matters and ensure consistent application of policies and laws.
• Manage employee relations cases, including workforce reductions and organizational changes with works councils.
• Lead performance improvement processes, disciplinary actions, grievances, and related matters.
• Coordinate with COE LER, legal teams, and report data trends to mitigate risk.
