Job summary

Cytiva, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Labour and Employee Relations Specialist for the UK & Ireland. You will own ER activity across UK manufacturing sites (Newquay and Cardiff) and non-manufacturing associates, providing clear, balanced guidance to People Leaders.

Reporting to the Senior People Partner for D&M, you will manage Level1-2 cases, advise on employment law, develop policies, and build capability through coaching. This onsite role requires travel to other UK sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in an employee relations or HR advisory role and be confident managing a varied caseload independently
• Strong understanding of UK employment law and employee relations best practice
• Ability to assess risk and provide balanced, commercially focused recommendations
• Experience partnering with operational stakeholders to support people initiatives
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage a busy workload
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Employee Relations Casework: handling Level1 and Level2 ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, capability, performance and absence matters
• Providing clear, practical advice to People Leaders and escalating complex cases as needed
• Reviewing people plans and data to identify priorities across absence, performance, training and ER
• Coaching and developing People Leaders to handle issues with policy consistency
• Policy and Documentation Development: updating HR policies and templates to stay compliant with employment law
