Job summary

Itchyfeet Recruitment Agency’s client in Guernsey is seeking an Onboarding Adviser to join the Client Onboarding Team. The role focuses on enhancing the onboarding experience while ensuring regulatory compliance across processes.

You will act as the main liaison between engagement teams and clients, guiding KYC activities, handling AML inquiries, and ensuring timely gathering of required documentation to satisfy regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of KYC and AML regulatory requirements.
• Experience managing client relationships or roles related to client risk, AML, or KYC.
• Ability to build strong relationships with diverse teams.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence change proactively.

Responsibilities

• Respond effectively to AML-related queries regarding procedures, policy, and respective systems for KYC.
• Communicate with engagement teams to keep them updated on onboarding status, proactively resolving any issues.
• Guide clients and engagement teams throughout the KYC process to gather the necessary documentation required to satisfy AML requirements.
• Act as a conduit between the KYC Operations Team and clients/engagement teams to ensure clear interpretation of KYC requirements.
• Demonstrate quality and technical expertise by addressing queries for the KYC Operations team and simplifying requests from clients.
• Take ownership of charging all time spent on onboarding tasks to relevant codes for accurate management information regarding the onboarding process.
