Job summary

Itchy Feet in Jersey is seeking an Onboarding Advisor to streamline client KYC onboarding and support AML/CFT compliance. The role acts as the main liaison between engagement teams, clients, and the KYC Operations group, ensuring timely collection of KYC information and clear communication.

You will guide clients through onboarding requirements, manage stakeholder expectations, and work with teams to meet AML guidelines while accurately recording onboarding activities using WBS codes.

Qualifications

• Understanding of KYC processes and AML risk implications.
• Experience in client relationships or roles related to client risk, AML, or KYC.
• Ability to build strong relationships across diverse teams and escalate issues when necessary.
• Aptitude for working to KPIs and being accountable for output.
• Knowledge of compliance monitoring processes is advantageous.
• Familiarity with quality standards and regulatory needs is beneficial.
• Experience with complex regulatory conditions and clear client-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Respond effectively to AML-related queries regarding procedures, policies, and KYC systems.
• Communicate with engagement teams to keep them updated on onboarding status and escalate issues early.
• Guide clients and engagement teams through the KYC process to obtain necessary documentation for AML compliance.
• Act as a conduit between KYC Operations and clients/teams to clarify requirements and streamline requests.
• Serve as the initial contact for KYC Operations on queries or outreach for a KYC profile.
• Take ownership of charging onboarding time to the correct WBS codes for accurate management information.
