Job summary

Proactive Appointments Limited is seeking a Solutions Architect near Guildford to bridge technology and business, focusing on IT strategy rather than hands-on delivery. The role is client-facing, with a strong technical grounding but not delivery-oriented.

You will work with SME clients to understand their business and current tech, shaping IT strategy and scoping projects to achieve their goals. The role is Hybrid—2–3 days in the office near Guildford with occasional client visits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure is important.
• Experience with Microsoft security, cloud migrations and wider infrastructure would be useful.

Responsibilities

• Running regular strategic IT roadmap meetings with clients.
• Scoping and costing IT projects before handing them over to the technical delivery team.
• Supporting new business opportunities and helping clients identify where technology can improve their business.
