Job summary

Artis Recruitment is assisting a leading professional services firm in Bristol on a technology transformation, seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design scalable, secure, end-to-end solutions. Hybrid role: 3 days onsite in central Bristol, rest remote.

You will translate business requirements into architecture, produce HLDs/LLDs, define integration strategies, and govern security and performance across cloud, data, and applications.

Qualifications

• Broad experience delivering high-level and low-level designs.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale solutions across apps, infra and data.
• Experience with Azure and/or AWS.
• Strong API design and systems integration capabilities.
• Knowledge of identity, security and governance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality High-Level Designs (HLDs) and, where appropriate, Low-Level Designs (LLDs).
• Lead solution discovery activities and translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Define integration approaches, APIs and data flows between enterprise platforms and business systems.
• Support architecture governance, technical design reviews and solution assurance activities.
• Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, resilience and operational support requirements.
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, delivery teams and third-party suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to architecture standards, best practice and reusable design patterns.
