Job summary

Sovereign Network Group (SNG) is looking for a Solution Architect to join our IT team and lead the design and development of architectural solutions across platforms. You will create and maintain architectural blueprints and technical documentation, ensuring alignment with company goals and technology standards.

This hybrid role lets you work from home and in the office two days per week, based at Basingstoke or Wembley, with occasional travel between offices as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise and solution architecture.
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks (TOGAF).
• Expertise in SaaS platforms, integration, and APIs.
• Understanding of DevOps and Agile development.
• Strong consultancy and stakeholder engagement.
• Commercial awareness and value delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of architectural solutions across platforms.

• Collaborate with other architects to define end-to-end designs including systems, data, integration, and security.
• Identify opportunities for optimisation and technology reuse and assist in evaluating new products.
• Work with business stakeholders, product owners and analysts to understand requirements.
• Attend and contribute to technology governance forums and strategic planning.

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for digital transformation and solution design? Sovereign Network Group (SNG) is looking for a Solution Architect to join our IT team.

You'll take a hybrid approach working from home and in the office 2 days per week, and you can be based either from our Basingstoke or Wembley office. With occasional travel between our offices.

The Role

Main Responsibilities

• Leading the design and development of architectural solutions across platforms
• Creating and maintaining architectural blueprints and technical documentation
• Ensuring solutions align with company goals and technology standards through participation in the Technical Design Authority (TDA).
• Collaborating with other architects to define end-to-end designs, covering systems, data, integration, and security
• Identifying opportunities for optimisation and technology reuse, as well as supporting the evaluation and selection of new products and technologies
• Working with business stakeholders, product owners and business analysts to understand functional and non-functional requirements and interact with other cross-functional teams
• Attending and contributing to technology governance forums and strategic planning discussions

Essential Skills & Experience
