Job summary

Environment Agency Pension Fund (EAPF) seeks an experienced Investment Oversight professional to help keep the Fund at the forefront of responsible investment.

You will oversee LPPI’s implementation of the Fund’s Strategic Asset Allocation, identify green growth opportunities, monitor public and private markets, and advise on climate change and biodiversity impacts of investments. Travel nationally and internationally as required.

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge of investing across asset classes.
• Strong understanding of responsible investment and impact investing.
• Understanding of climate science and natural capital for investing.
• Knowledge of LGPS and pooling arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee LPPI's work to deliver the Fund’s Investment Strategy.
• Input to strategic direction of the Fund’s investment approach.
• Monitor investments across public and private markets.
• Advise on climate change and biodiversity impacts of investments.
• Provide assurance on LPPI activities through partnership working.
• Report progress to Investment Oversight Group and Pensions Committee.
• Engage with members, media and public enquiries on investment approach.
• Represent the Fund in meetings and public speaking engagements.
