Job summary

Brown & Brown (Europe) Limited in Lutterworth is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to join our progressive team. You will sell, offer and renew insurance contracts, manage an existing book of business, and assist with new enquiries to grow our client base.

You will deliver high-quality, compliant advice and excellent customer service, with opportunity for long-term progression based on meritocracy.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years general insurance experience (broking or underwriting).
• Experience handling new business inquiries, renewals and mid-term adjustments.
• Strong customer service and negotiation skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication; professional representation of the company.
• Ability to build relationships with prospects, clients, insurers and colleagues.
• Proficiency with Acturis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deal with nominated new and existing business insurance enquiries proactively.
• Administer clients' insurance requirements for renewals and mid-term adjustments, obtain quotations.
• Review client needs and advise on appropriate insurances.
• Produce broking submission reports and presented risks to insurers.
• Ensure high-quality client documentation is provided to clients.
• Liaise with insurers and third parties regarding client needs.
• Provide technical support to colleagues and maintain relationships to achieve objectives.
