Job summary

One Manchester is seeking an Insight, Intelligence and Performance Business Partner to enable the organisation to operate as a data‑driven, intelligence‑led business. You’ll blend strategic partnering with hands‑on BI delivery to provide high‑quality data, reporting and insight for informed decision making.

You’ll work with stakeholders to understand needs, develop reporting and BI solutions, and deliver clear insights that drive performance and service improvement across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a partnering/BI role with stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

• Provide performance analysis, insight and challenge to support strategic and operational decision‑making.
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable reports, dashboards and recommendations.
• Partner with business areas to understand priorities, performance issues and reporting requirements.
• Lead the design, development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards, KPI reporting and analytical solutions.
• Deliver accurate and timely performance reporting, ensuring robust data validation and quality assurance.
• Maintain KPI frameworks, definitions and governance standards across the organisation.
• Drive data quality improvements and provide assurance on the accuracy and integrity of performance information.
• Manage and optimise reporting systems, datasets, data models and automated processes using tools such as Power BI, SQL, Power Query, DAX and Power Automate.
• Produce analysis for regulatory, benchmarking and ad‑hoc reporting requirements.
• Promote a data‑driven culture by supporting colleagues, sharing expertise and encouraging effective use of data and insight.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting standards, tools and business intelligence practices.
