Job summary

Bolton Council is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence leader to shape and deliver high-quality intelligence that informs decisions for children, young people, families and adults across Bolton. You will manage BI professionals, coordinate diverse intelligence products, and work with partners to drive transformation.

You will be a strong communicator, capable of presenting data stories to senior leaders and service managers while developing a culture of excellence within the BI team.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline (e.g., Maths, ICT, Statistics).
• Experience of line managing and developing others.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of intelligence products and insights.
• Line manage BI Professionals and develop talent.
• Collaborate with services and partners to drive service transformation.
• Coordinate learning and professional development within the BI team.
