Job summary

VANRATH is seeking an experienced inbound logistics professional to coordinate cross-site shipments, manage customs declarations, and work with freight forwarders. The role emphasizes cost control, compliance, and collaboration with purchasing, production, and finance teams.

The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years in a high-volume manufacturing logistics environment, strong Excel skills, and a proven track record in audits and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' experience in inbound logistics or supply chain in high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience with customs declarations and GB-NI duty reimbursements.
• Hands-on with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and hauliers.
• Experience managing multi-site inbound logistics operations.
• Audit support and strong compliance history.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Detail-oriented with a compliance-focused mindset.
• Cost-conscious with focus on service performance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound shipments across multiple sites, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Prepare and manage customs declarations and handle duty reimbursements.
• Maintain compliant customs documentation and support inspection processes.
• Act as the main contact for freight forwarders and customs agents.
• Monitor shipment progress, proactively resolving delays and risks.
• Support audits and maintain detailed logistics records.
• Collaborate with purchasing, production, warehouse, and finance teams.
• Track inbound logistics KPIs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
