Job summary

SR2 | Socially Responsible Recruitment | Certified B Corporation™ is seeking a Contract ILS Manager in Bristol for a major Defence programme. You will own supportability strategies, ensuring long-term solutions are integrated from the start. The role requires a strong background in ILS within Defence, experience in MOD logistics, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders in complex environments. This 12-month contract includes competitive pay of £800–£900/day and requires SC clearance.

Qualifications

• Strong ILS / supportability background specifically in Defence.
• Solid grasp of MOD logistics frameworks and through-life support.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders in complex environments.
• Ability to set direction even when clarity isn't available.

Responsibilities

• Own the question of long-term support for the MOD programme.
• Drive the ILS strategy across the full programme lifecycle.
• Define maintenance, spares, training, and support concepts.
• Influence stakeholder decisions on cost, risk, and sustainment.
• Ensure supplier performance meets supportability requirements.
