Job summary

Bromsgrove District Council and Redditch Borough Council are seeking an ICT Project Officer on a fixed-term basis (12 months). The role covers the full project lifecycle for ICT initiatives to improve council services, with responsibilities for stakeholder engagement and adherence to government policies.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering ICT projects across full lifecycle (scoping to closure).
• Ability to work with stakeholders across multiple councils and partners.
• Familiarity with government regulations and data protection considerations.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of ICT projects and ICT elements of wider programmes.
• Ensure delivery aligns with Prince2 and other council standards.
• Identify, monitor and mitigate risks to timescales and budgets.
• Maintain reporting on project status for senior managers and elected officials.
• Collaborate with internal ICT teams and external suppliers/contractors.
