Test Valley Borough Council, in partnership with Winchester City Council, invites applications for an IT Project Officer to join the IT Shared Service. The role supports project governance, risk and issue management, planning, and stakeholder communication across a programme of IT modernisation.
The post is a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2028, full-time 37 hours per week, based in Andover and Winchester with flexible working options. Salary scale £32,155 to £35,026.92 per annum (Grade 6).

As an experienced project professional, you will be joining our IT Business Support Team to provide project management expertise to the IT Shared Services in project governance, risk and issue management, planning, and stakeholder communication
This is a new officer role to support the delivery of the IT programme of work required to modernise the council’s IT infrastructure and support the transformation of IT service management

The post is full time for 37 hours per week, but for the right candidate, we are open to discussing flexible working options to ensure a perfect fit for both parties The post will be based out of our Andover and Winchester offices, with home working opportunities where appropriate
