Job summary

Ubico is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support managers across Gloucestershire, travelling to sites and collaborating with the People Team. You will provide expert guidance on employee relations, policy application, and people development to foster positive workplace cultures.

The role requires building trusted relationships, influencing change, and enabling managers to maximise team performance. A full driving licence and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a generalist HR role, ideally at Business Partner level.
• Strong employee relations and employment law knowledge.
• Experience supporting and coaching managers through a variety of people challenges.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
• CIPD level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, commercially focused HR support to managers and leaders.
• Advise on disciplinary, grievance, absence management, capability and workplace investigations.
• Coach leaders to develop management skills and build high-performing teams.
• Lead and contribute to people-focused projects supporting engagement and organisational growth.
