Job summary

Ubico is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support managers across Gloucestershire. You’ll provide practical, commercially focused HR guidance, influence change and help leaders develop high-performing teams while keeping the employee experience at the centre of decisions.

Based in Cheltenham or Gloucester with regular site travel, you’ll partner with managers on employee relations, policy adherence and workforce development, delivering impactful people initiatives.

Qualifications

• Significant generalist HR experience, ideally at BP level.
• Strong employee relations and employment law knowledge.
• Experience coaching managers through people challenges.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted advisor to managers and leaders across the business.
• Provide practical HR guidance on employee relations matters such as disciplinaries, grievances, and investigations.
• Ensure policies are applied fairly and consistently and support decision-making.
• Coach leaders to develop management capability and build high-performing teams.
• Lead or contribute to people-focused projects supporting growth and engagement.
