Job summary

ITSS Recruitment is recruiting an HR Manager for a manufacturing company near Thirsk, North Yorkshire. Salary £45,000–£55,000. You will be based in modern offices and work with an experienced team to drive HR strategy and compliance. CIPD Level 5 or equivalent practical experience is preferred.

The role covers ER, recruitment, onboarding, admin, policy, performance, reporting and JV alignment in a fast-growing business. Sponsorship isn’t offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR end-to-end activities including ER, recruitment, onboarding and compliance.
• Strong documentation and case-management abilities.
• Ability to implement policies and support managers effectively.
• Manufacturing/operational HR experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage disciplinary, grievance, absence and capability cases end-to-end.
• Lead recruitment and onboarding for operational roles.
• Issue contracts and maintain HR records with compliance.
• Coordinate payroll inputs with Finance for monthly processing.
• Maintain and update HR policies and create an employee handbook.
• Support managers with performance discussions and pay-review data.
• Provide HR metrics and ad-hoc reports for leadership.
• Align HR initiatives with JV partner while maintaining independence.
• Oversee fleet administration and vehicle management.
