Job summary

Belfast City Council is seeking a senior HR professional to lead development and delivery of strategic HR services, including workforce planning, learning and equality & inclusion. The role reports to the Director of Human Resources and may deputise for them as required.

You will guide the leadership team and elected Members on issues with major implications and help drive the People Strategy across a diverse, high-performing organisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the development and delivery of strategic HR services across the organisation.
• Deputise for the Director of Human Resources when required.
• Provide professional guidance to the leadership team and elected Members on issues with significant implications.
• Drive the department's annual objectives and work programmes and support senior management.
