Essential Employment is seeking a HR Business Partner to provide expert HR guidance in Nottingham on a temporary basis. The role focuses on employee relations, case management, investigations and employment law compliance.

You will support organisational change, liaise with trade unions, run training, and help improve workforce performance and engagement while maintaining high standards of policy compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Provide expert HR guidance on employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, capability, attendance and performance management.
• Ability to manage complex casework and support formal hearings and appeals.
• Experience supporting Employment Tribunal processes and statutory requirements.

Aufgaben

• Provide professional HR advice to managers on employee relations matters.
• Manage complex casework ensuring compliance with employment legislation and best practice.
• Support Employment Tribunal processes and prepare documentation and witness statements.
• Advise on organisational change initiatives including restructures, redesigns and TUPE transfers.
• Develop, review and implement HR policies ensuring legal compliance.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to influence people management decisions.
• Partner with managers to identify workforce challenges and deliver practical solutions.
• Consult and negotiate with employee representatives and trade unions on workforce matters.
• Design and deliver training on HR policies and employment law.
• Analyse workforce data to identify trends and mitigate risks.
• Support job evaluation processes and organisational design activities.
• Conduct investigations and produce evidence-based reports and recommendations.
• Contribute to succession planning and workforce development.
• Mentor less experienced HR colleagues.
• Provide information for Subject Access Requests and statutory requirements.
