Job summary

DB Cargo UK is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to drive strategic people leadership across the business from Doncaster with UK-wide travel. You will partner with senior leaders to create and deliver people plans, lead transformation, coach managers and manage complex ER matters.

You’ll influence workforce planning, talent development and employee engagement while building future organisational capability.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a senior HR Business Partnering role.
• Strong employee relations and employment law knowledge.
• Experience operating within a unionised environment.
• Proven organisational change and transformation experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
• Ability to build credibility and trust at senior leadership level.
• Minimum CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent experience).
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.

Responsibilities

• Partnering with senior leaders to develop and deliver people plans aligned to business objectives.
• Leading organisational change and transformation activity.
• Providing coaching and support to managers and leaders across the business.
• Supporting workforce planning, succession planning and talent development.
• Managing complex employee relations matters.
• Building effective relationships with Trade Union representatives and key stakeholders.
• Using people data and insights to inform business decisions.
• Supporting employee engagement, inclusion and wellbeing initiatives.
• Driving continuous improvement across people processes and practices.
• Helping build organisational capability for the future.
• Line management responsibility for 2 People Advisors
