Macmillan Davies is partnering with a forward-thinking organisation to recruit a People Advisor. You will be the go-to person for managers, delivering practical, commercially focused advice across a broad range of HR matters.

You'll join a supportive People function, focusing on providing guidance and coaching while the People Operations team handles transactional queries. The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract with hybrid working (2 days onsite in Manchester) and potential to become

Qualifications

• Experience as HR/People Advisor handling manager queries and providing practical guidance.
• Grounding in employee relations and employment law to support managers.
• Ability to coach managers and navigate disciplinary and grievance matters when needed.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for managers on a broad range of people matters.
• Advise and coach managers to handle issues confidently and compliantly.
• Support disciplinary and grievance processes when required and coordinate with HR.
• Address pay queries, salary benchmarking and wider reward questions.
• Interpret and apply HR policies and employment legislation.
• Collaborate with the wider People team to deliver consistent service.
• Identify trends to improve employee and manager experience.
