Novax Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an experienced Group Health & Safety Manager to lead safety strategy across multiple sites in Doncaster. You will develop and implement group-wide policies, drive improvements and ensure ISO 45001 alignment.

You will manage a team of H&S professionals, engage with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with UK legislation. A proactive, hands-on leader with strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in General or Construction Health & Safety.
• Chartered IOSH membership, or working towards chartered status.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement the group-wide Health & Safety strategy, driving continuous improvement in performance and standards.
• Review, maintain and improve health and safety management systems, policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant UK legislation, regulations and industry guidance.
• Build strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors and other external stakeholders.
• Lead health and safety meetings, sharing best practice, lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.
• Manage and develop a team of Health & Safety professionals, ensuring resources are used effectively.
• Lead investigations into accidents and incidents, ensuring findings are addressed and corrective actions implemented.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on safe systems of work, risk assessments, COSHH assessments and legislative requirements.
• Carry out site and factory inspections, identifying risks and ensuring appropriate standards are maintained.
• Oversee ISO 45001 certification maintenance and continual improvement.
