Job summary

Vadella Group is seeking an experienced Group Health & Safety Manager to lead the health & safety strategy across the UK-based group of companies. You will report to the Chief People Officer and work closely with senior leaders to ensure governance, regulatory compliance, and robust safety performance across multi-site operations.

Hybrid role in London, with field-based duties, audits, incident investigations and continuous improvement across all operating companies.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma (or Level 6) is essential.
• Chartered IOSH status or active progression toward it.
• Proven experience managing HSE across multi-site operations.
• Experience in environmental/water hygiene or related fields is advantageous.
• Strong incident investigation and root-cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continual improvement of the Group H&S framework across all operating companies.
• Maintain H&S policies, procedures and governance to ensure legal compliance.
• Develop and deliver group audit and inspection programmes across sites.
• Produce board-level KPIs, incident trends, and improvement plans.
• Manage HSE relationships with regulators and oversight bodies.
• Lead investigations into RIDDOR incidents with robust corrective actions.
• Oversee incident reporting and escalation to senior leadership.
• Provide expert advice to MDs and management teams across the Group.
• Ensure ISO 45001 management systems where applicable and cover key risks.
