Job summary

Brooklyn Recruitment is seeking a Group HR Manager for a stainless steel and aluminium manufacturing group in Staffordshire. The role involves shaping policies, ensuring legal compliance, and guiding site HR teams across 12 sites with ~450 employees.

Based from the Burntwood head office, it requires occasional travel to other sites. The successful candidate will have a proven HR background in manufacturing, strong communication, management skills, and a CIPD qualification.

• Experience in HR in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to develop and implement HR policies and processes.
• Strong communication and management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Developing and revising policies and processes.
• Ensuring policies are adhered to and training managers in HR.
• Ensuring UK legislation compliance and involvement in performance management.
• Reviewing salary structures and rewards; creating recognition culture.
• Advising managers on recruitment, preparing offers and contracts.
• Coordinating onboarding and reference checks; staff training needs.
• Overseeing HR tasks across multiple sites with occasional travel.
