Job summary

The Financial Reporting Senior Manager role sits in a large listed group within the Group Finance function. You will lead external and statutory reporting, manage the external audit relationship and own a broad range of technical accounting matters.

You’ll work with senior stakeholders, develop and coach a high-calibre finance team, and help strengthen financial controls and reporting processes across the organisation.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified.
• Strong technical financial reporting experience within a large or complex organisation.
• Experience managing and developing a team.
• Strong IFRS and General Ledger knowledge.
• Confidence working with senior stakeholders and tight reporting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of Group and subsidiary financial statements, interim reporting and quarterly results.
• Manage the annual external audit process.
• Own key technical accounting areas including consolidation, leases, share-based payments, fixed assets, borrowings and revenue recognition.
• Partner with finance and operational teams on complex accounting matters.
• Support the ongoing development of financial controls and reporting processes.
• Lead, coach and develop a high-calibre finance team.
