Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in the UK is looking for a Senior Finance Manager to join a Group Reporting team. This contract role involves providing technical accounting guidance, leading statutory account preparation, and managing audits. Candidates should have strong IFRS knowledge and experience in fast-paced, large organizations. The position offers a hybrid work model in Luton for a duration of 3 to 6 months.

Qualifications

• Strong technical accounting and IFRS knowledge (IFRS 16 advantageous).
• Proven experience within a large multinational organization.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical accounting guidance and support across the Group.
• Lead preparation of Group statutory accounts and manage audits.
• Monitor and implement new IFRS standards.
• Prepare and present technical papers to management and the Audit Committee.
• Support key business projects and assess accounting implications.
• Manage and develop a small team.
