Job summary

Rathbones Plc is seeking an experienced Head of Group Reporting and Consolidation to lead the monthly group consolidation, annual report, interim report and IMS processes, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. You will manage and develop the consolidation team, maintain strong controls, and partner with senior stakeholders to drive process improvements and automation across Financial Control.

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with proven ability to prioritise, challenge senior management

Strong experience in financial reporting and consolidation within a complex organisation.
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to demanding deadlines.
Strong stakeholder management skills with confidence to challenge senior management.
Experience of managing reporting processes through a structured project-management approach.
Commitment to continuous improvement and process enhancement.

Responsibilities

Lead the monthly group consolidation process and posting of consolidation journals.
Lead preparation of the annual report, interim report and IMS with stakeholders.
Prepare monthly Group and subsidiary balance sheet and income statement for sign-off.
Prepare various Deferred Tax schedules for handover to tax team.
Own and maintain the finance relationship with the group reporting software provider.
Manage and develop the consolidation team.
Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and strengthen controls.
Drive continuous improvements in team and processes.
