Rathbones in London/Hybrid is seeking a senior financial consolidation and reporting professional to lead the group consolidation, sign-off processes, and annual/interim reporting. You will strengthen control environments, automate where possible, and work with multiple stakeholders to deliver high-quality financial statements.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in financial reporting and consolidation within a complex organisation.
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent stakeholder management and confident challenging senior management.
• Experience delivering reporting through structured project management.

Responsabilités

• Lead monthly group consolidation and oversee consolidation journals for accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee preparation of the group annual report, interim report and IMS with stakeholders.
• Prepare monthly Group and subsidiary balance sheets and income statements for sign-off.
• Run deferred tax schedules before handing to tax team.
• Maintain finance relationship with group reporting software provider.
• Manage and develop the consolidation team.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes and strengthen controls.
• Lead ad hoc projects.
