Job summary

Athora in London is seeking an experienced Manager Consolidation to lead the Group's quarterly and annual consolidation and reporting. You will collaborate across Finance, Actuarial, Tax and divisional teams to ensure robust, timely reporting and adherence to Group accounting policies.

The role includes embedding IFRS requirements (IFRS 17/IFRS 9), driving process improvements, and partnering with external auditors through planning and year-end sign-off.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with 5+ years post-qualification experience in financial reporting and consolidation.
• Experience in life insurance reporting and group consolidation processes.
• Proven track record in managing senior stakeholders and driving process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead quarterly and annual group consolidation and reporting for the Group and sub-consolidations.
• Review intercompany reconciliations, elimination entries and journals for accuracy and timeliness.
• Drive IFRS reporting improvements, governance, and documentation across the Group.
• Collaborate with auditors, tax, actuarial and divisional finance teams to support sign-off.
