Job summary

SF Partners in Slough is seeking a Finance Director to lead the UK finance function and join the UK Leadership Team. You will provide strategic financial leadership, governance and commercial insight to drive growth and transformation across the business.

Reporting to the Group CFO, you will oversee IFRS reporting, treasury, working capital and the UK finance team, while strengthening controls and supporting acquisitions and integrations in a PE-backed international freight and logistics

Qualifications

ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with experience as Finance Director, Head of Finance or Financial Controller.
Experience in freight forwarding, cargo, logistics, supply chain or transport is essential.
Understand commercial and operational complexities: customer profitability, tariffs and working capital.

Responsibilities

Leading budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and statutory accounts under IFRS.
Providing commercial analysis across customers, products, trade lanes and locations.
Managing working capital, cash flow, treasury, AP, AR and credit control.
Improving margins, profitability and operational efficiency.
Leading and developing the UK finance team.
Strengthening controls, systems and reporting processes.
Supporting acquisitions, integrations and transformation projects.
