Job summary

CPR in Birmingham is seeking a Governance & Reporting Manager to lead fraud risk assessment and assurance across a major infrastructure programme. The role focuses on meeting Government Functional Standards, developing fraud policies, and reporting to senior leadership.

You will coordinate FRA activities, develop metrics, and provide governance oversight with a hybrid working pattern in mind.

Qualifications

Substantial experience in managing a Fraud Risk Assessment programme.
Strong knowledge of Government Functional Standard 013 and counter-fraud governance.
Experience delivering FRAs of varying scope and fraud measurement.
Understanding of fraud legislation including Fraud Act 2006 and Bribery Act.

Responsibilities

Manage the Fraud Risk Assessment programme, including detailed, thematic and enterprise assessments.
Undertake fraud measurement exercises and develop fraud risk models and metrics.
Develop the Counter Fraud Strategy based on FRA findings and data-driven insights.
Ensure compliance with Government Functional Standard 013.
Develop and maintain fraud-related policies, including Gifts & Hospitality and Whistleblowing.
Liaise with internal teams and supply chain stakeholders to manage current and emerging fraud risks.
Produce clear, high-quality reports for senior management and governance committees.
Develop and deliver counter-fraud training across the organisation.
Coordinate assurance activity and provide effective governance oversight.
